Inspection

Visual Inspection

Visual Inspection, used in maintenance of facilities, mean inspection of equipment and structures using either or all of raw human senses such as vision, hearing, touch and smell and/or any non-specialized inspection equipment.

Visual Inspection

Three levels of certification are available – CSWIP Visual Welding Inspector, Welding Inspector and Senior Welding Inspector. Senior Welding Inspectors often supervise teams of welding inspectors to deliver compliance of welded products and structures. CSWIP Welding Inspector certification is the scheme mostly widely used by industry.

Plate Inspection

The combined 2D/3D inspection system with laser triangulation detects and classifies all relevant defects, such as cracks or inclusions, and measures their depth. This ensures that quality and repair costs are determined correctly and minimizes waste material.

Forging Inspection

The forging process is associated with the emergence of natural volumetric defects such as inclusions and porosities. These defects can be located anywhere in the part volume and must be reliably identified and characterized in order to ensure high quality parts.

Casting Inspection

Defective castings may be salvaged or completely rejected to be re-melted for their material content depending upon the nature and extent of defect. The inspection methods may also be divided into destructive or non-destructive categories depending upon the magnitude of damage done to the casting during inspection.

Pressure vessel inspection

The Pressure Vessel Inspections article provides you information about the inspection of pressure vessels and pressure vessel tests in a manufacturing shop. You may want to review the pressure vessel inspection procedure and corresponding inspection and test plan.

Storage tank inspection

When storing hazardous substances, reducing the risk of leakage is vital. Storage tank corrosion can cause environmental contamination and losses. As a result, you need to ensure the safety and reliability of your tanks. Our inspection, audit and calibration services help you to avoid disasters and ensure that your storage tanks meet all relevant regulations.

In Service Inspection

All inspection activities associated with a pressure vessel once it has been placed in service but before it is permanently retired from service.
